Access to authentic information plays a significant role in organizing today's world. If furbished with sufficient and precise information, it becomes easier to accomplish tasks easily and in less time.
Foreseeing the role it could play in bringing a revolution in the tourism industry, the Ticker Board or the Satellite Control Board installed at NTB is the first of its kind to be introduced in the country. The board was inaugurated amidst a function by Mr. Prachanda Man Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board on August 30, 2008. Mr. Shrestha highlighting the need of such technology in today's world said the ticker board installed at the NTB premises is the collective property of the tourism industry of Nepal. Prior to this, Mr. Subash Nirola, Senior Director of NTB welcoming the guests said the installation of board would be helpful in information dissemination.
Dolpa Chamber of commerce has initiated to organize Dolpa festival in coordination with District Development Committee Dolpa and concerned stakeholders functioning in Dolpa. The chamber expects moral and material contributions from all and every well wishers of Dolpa.

Yeti Airlines is registered as a Private Limited Company and was established in May 1998. It has obtained “Air Operator Certificate” numbered 023/98 from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) issued on 17, August 1998 to operate commercial domestic flights to various destinations of Nepal.
It operates scheduled and charter flights within Nepal. It started its operations with two DHC-6/300 Series Twin Otter aircrafts flying to remote areas with STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) airports like Lukla, Phaplu, Lamidanda, Rumjatar, Simikot.
Within eight years time span, it grew to become the only airlines to use various aircrafts like DHC-6/300 Twin Otter, Embraer EMB 110, EMB 120, Y-12, SAAB 340B and now Jetstream 41. It has the largest fleet of ten aircrafts at present – five DHC-6/300 Twin Otters and five Jetstream 41 covering major districts and cities within Nepal - mountain, hill and the terai regions.
Yeti is the market leader in domestic air transportation in remote regions of Nepal which is not accessible by highways. The airline also operates to terai region of Nepal with Trunk airports.
