Dhulikhel is set at a height of 5,500 ft above sea level and 30 Kilometers east of Kathmandu on the Kodari Highway. Dhulikhel is a small town with a long history. Excursions Available from Dhulikhel Palanchok Bhagawati: Half an hour drive from Dhulikhel to most beautiful and important Hindu temples of Goddess Bhagawati with eighteen arms. Changunarayn: Temples of the 8th century of Changunarayan is the oldest in the valley, with only half an hour drive. Sulpur Springs: One can drive in about 3 hours to the Tibetan border at Kodari, stopping to see the Sulpur host springs at Tatopani.
