Dhulikhel is set at a height of 5,500 ft above sea level and 30 Kilometers east of Kathmandu on the Kodari Highway. Dhulikhel is a small town with a long history. It is one of the nearest city from kathmandu which is favorite tourist destination for all. Records show that it has been around for more than 500 years. Excursions Available from Dhulikhel Palanchok Bhagawati: Half an hour drive from Dhulikhel to most beautiful and important Hindu temples of Goddess Bhagawati with eighteen arms. Changunarayn: Temples of the 8th century of Changunarayan is the oldest in the valley, with only half an hour drive. Sulpur Springs: One can drive in about 3 hours to the Tibetan border at Kodari, stopping to see the Sulpur host springs at Tatopani. Charikot and Jiri: At 3 hours drive is another beautiful natural terrain of Chariko and at 4 hours drive is Jiri.
