In Nepal, going to remote corners of the Himalaya is not a problem for visitors. In fact, it is pleasurable and exciting activity. How? Through helicopters. Since a helicopter needs only a small landing space, it can be hired to take tourists to whichever destination in the country-and at whatever time they want to go there. No wonder chartering a helicopter for sightseeing has become a popular tourist activity in Nepal.Want a lift? Sightseeing by Helicopter in Nepal

Helicopters have become increasingly useful and popular in Nepal because of the country’s ragged terrain. Helicopters now transport more climbers and goods for mountaineering expeditions to the base camps and mountains of the Himalaya. They also carry out and rescue tourists, trekkers and climbers from more remote and difficult areas.

All the helicopter types that are in operation in Nepal today are ideally suited to the Nepalese topographical conditions and requirements. The heavy-duty  and multi-seated craft can transport large groups from low levels to the high Himalayan hights. The medium and smaller helicopters are ideal for luxurious sight-seeing and other special-interest programs.

Chartering a helicopter is specially advantageous for those who do not have much time to spare but want to see and experience all the attractions that Nepal has to offer. The helicopters can be used for pleasure as well as for practical purposes: from touristic enjoyment, trekking and mountaineering expeditions to technical scientific works.

Helicopter companies here provide both charter and scheduled services all over Nepal. They posses a wide variety of helicopters with safety and high altitude capability that are suitable to the mountainous terrain.
